A large national company with between 8000 – 9000 employees were looking for a new recruitment company to support their recruitment. The Recruiter Group met with the HR Director and Operations Director and listened to their vision and strategy for the future recruitment of Senior Managers and colleagues.

From the conversations about their recruitment over the past 12 months we looked at their frustrations and challenges they faced as a HR and Operations team. We then drove out a specifically tailored recruitment plan which suited both the company and The Recruiter Group.

Our SLA (Service Level Agreement) was built upon what we could do and not what they wanted to hear. This resulted in a number of successful placements over the years, a long-lasting relationship and retained staff.

A local not for profit organisation initially required an additional Membership Officer for the team, following the departure of a previous employee. We undertook a full recruitment process for the organisation, from advertising the vacancy, to first stage interview, through to final short-list and second stage interviews. Following successful placement of a candidate, we continued to provide support during the initial induction and probationary period.

This in turn led to the client approaching us again a few months later requiring a Finance Officer, again due to departure of another member of staff. A change in the senior management team also brought about the need for a slightly different approach to recruitment. On this occasion, in addition to advertising the vacancy and undertaking first stage interviews, we were asked to provide advice and guidance on an appropriate format and structure for the second stage interviews, given the seniority of the post.

Successful appointment followed, and we have since been involved in the recruitment of further members of the staff team. An expanding local business with 5 employees asked us to produce a detailed bespoke recruitment plan for their business. Working alongside both the Directors and Accountant we supported with job descriptions, HR working practices, employee contracts and commission schemes to start with.

We then set about managing the complete recruitment process for our clients from start to finish; this included marketing and advertising the positions identified to develop and drive business performance. We spent time in the business to understand the culture and current work force skill sets and behaviours, we then arranged all the 1st interviews from search and selection, database, job board adverts and social media advertising.

We then shortlisted successful candidates into a 2nd stage interview process with the Directors; this resulted in all the candidates being offered roles. This saved the Directors huge amounts of time and money. We then checked all the references, set up employee files, diarised in 3 month probation review dates and sent out offer confirmation letters.
